My awesome family and friends threw me a "surprise" boob-voyage party Saturday night. Oh, they were good and thought they put it together without my knowing, but I figured out something was amiss. BUT I just didn't expect 25+ people standing in the driveway all dressed in PINK waving at me as I drove up!!! Totally caught me unaware because every single one of them, even the kiddos, were wearing breast cancer awareness shirts. . . . . . a sea of pink brought me to tears.
Then, oh my goodness, the decorations were outstanding! And a Cake with my blog inscribed on top! Pink food, Pink wine, Pink wrapped water bottles, Pink gifts and LOTS of LOVE!!!
I was so overwhelmed. We partied for hours saying "boob-voyage" (pronounced like bon-voyage) to my TATA's! What a night!
The gifts were so thoughtful too! I got a breast cancer pink ribbon hat, pink fuzzy house slippers, jigsaw puzzle to help during recovery, pink ribbon and more breast cancer awareness items, a zip up front pink robe for help while recovering. . . . . .
And a cow costume (the grandkids were delighted with this one) with pink udders to draw the eye away from my chest! LOL! :)
And I FOUND MY BIG GIRL PANTIES!!!!
My beautiful mother, 2x cancer survivor!
So, I'm focusing this week on getting my blood tests done and everything ready to have these boobs whacked off! I've got my Big Girl Panties on and I'm ready to fight this stupid dumb breast cancer!
