About

Us before our crappy cancer diagnosis

Charlotte has been married for 44 years. Her husband is retired from the state of Texas and currently works for the county as a Constable. He has been supportive and helpful both in the beginning and while recovering, waiting on her hand and foot.

Charlotte has been an entrepreneur owning numerous businesses and now works from her home office using online Internet services and products.

Working from home allows her to be available to her parents, as her mother fights cancer for the second time in her colon. Her mother is also a breast cancer survivor.

With two grown daughters and an another daughter still at home, she is blessed with 7 grand children, giving her a strong reason to fight.

Cancer or no cancer, Charlotte always tells it like it is. Being honest about her thoughts and feelings during the cancer journey is a promise she made to herself; first, to aid in her recovery and second, to help other women face their fears and find the strength and faith to live with cancer.

Blogging puts her in control, thumbing her nose at cancer with wit and sarcasm. She hopes you will join her on this journey as she writes her way through her personal experiences.

After all, she didn't see crappy cancer as a "poor me, why me, unlucky woman" who got breast cancer.  . . . . But as an opportunity to bring glory to God through the experience, and possibly help other women find their way.
